Kendra Bee hmmm good question....cuz nowadays ...women are the head of the house hold and more and more boys are being raised by women....the question should be when are MEN GOING TO START STANDING UP FOR THIER SONS/CHILDREN AND GET BACK TO BEING THE HEAD OF THE HOUSE.....I have sons....i can only teach them how they should be as men...but not how to be a man...smile

  2. Susan Gray-Grear Trotman I think a woman can raise her son to be well rounded. But there are some things a son must learn from a male figure. In other cultures, they will tell you that American men do not take the time to teach their sons how to be men.
In my opinion American men do ned to be more of a father than a friend to their sons. Also, a man cannot train a boy how ... See Moreto be a man, if no one took the time to train him.
I think mentoring, spending time with our sons, and participating in dialogue like this is a stepping stone to progress.

"now as a former single mother with a son, I think a women can certainly raise a man, because I pay attention to his character. there may be some things I may not be able to teach him, but there are some things I may not want him to learn. i don't want him to learn to be motivated by his urges, in his relationship with women. i don't want him to see women as trophies (how many he can aquire) I will raise him to be respectful and productive. I will raise him to have priorities that will enhance his life and the lives of his future family"

  4. my opinion is a woman could only teach her son so much' such as respect, kindness, and whats is right from wrong in life. The other aspect n life that they need to learn a son should be taught by a male perspective
